Owner, Founder and Lead Therapist

You don’t have to carry everything alone. Healing happens in safe and supportive spaces.
I’m so glad you’ve decided to take this step toward getting help. We all need support at different points in life, and I truly believe that everyone can benefit from therapy at some point. I founded Healing Insight in 2023 because I believe that when you begin to understand yourself more deeply, you can also begin to appreciate and care for yourself and the life you have. It is truly an honor for me to walk alongside my clients as they pursue healing and freedom from the struggles that have weighed on them.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Spring, Texas, and I serve clients throughout the state via telehealth. I earned my BA in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University. My professional background includes experience in nonprofit organizations and residential treatment settings, though my heart has always been drawn to providing outpatient therapy within my own practice.

I specialize in working with individuals who are navigating trauma and eating disorders, with a particular focus on sexual abuse and assault, infertility and reproductive challenges, and disordered eating. During my graduate studies, I spent significant time researching the impact of sexual abuse on eating disorders and one’s relationship with the body. I understand how difficult it can be to reconnect with your body after such violations, and I strive to create a safe and supportive space for that healing process to begin.

I have also had the privilege of supporting women who are experiencing reproductive trauma, including infertility, miscarriage, stillbirth, traumatic birth, postpartum depression, and postpartum anxiety. Learning to trust a body that feels like it has betrayed you can be incredibly painful and isolating.
Everyone’s path to parenthood is unique, and if you are walking through this difficult season, I will be there to listen, support you, and provide a safe place for you to process your experience. Having personally experienced infertility and related medical trauma, I understand how isolating these experiences can feel.

In my work, I value offering genuine compassion while also using evidence-based therapeutic approaches. I work with adults ages 18 and older, and my style is often described as passionate, caring, and direct. Together, we will develop skills to help you face and cope with difficult emotions while gently pushing the edges of your comfort zone in a safe and supportive way. My goal is to create an environment where you feel secure enough to talk about things that may once have felt impossible to say out loud.

I welcome clients from all backgrounds and belief systems. While I work with individuals of any or no religious affiliation, my Christian faith allows me to thoughtfully support clients who wish to incorporate their faith into the therapeutic process.
