Services
Our practice provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health therapy in Spring, TX for individuals navigating deeply personal challenges such as pregnancy loss/miscarriage, stillbirth, infertility, difficult pregnancy experiences, sexual abuse, sexual assault, and eating disorders. We understand that these experiences can impact every area of life, and our goal is to offer a safe, supportive space where healing and self-understanding can begin. In addition to counseling services, we also offer nutrition therapy for athletes, teens, young adults, women, and men, with specialized support for eating disorder recovery and developing a healthier relationship with food. Our team takes a collaborative approach, addressing both emotional and nutritional needs to support whole-person wellness. Whether you are seeking support for trauma, body image concerns, or nutrition guidance, we are here to help you move toward healing and balance.

Trauma and PTSD
We offer evidence based treatment to help individuals heal from trauma. We are specifically trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). EMDR is one of the leading forms of therapy for trauma, and research has shown it to be highly effective with other issues, including eating disorders. If you have difficulty talking about your issues, EMDR is a great option; it allows you to work through your difficulties without sharing all the details of what you've been through.

Eating Disorders:
Psychotherapy and Nutrition Counseling
Our clinicians are trained and experienced in the treatment of eating disorders and we offer treatment for disordered eating and eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder (BED), ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder), OSFED (other specified feeding and eating disorder), orthorexia, exercise addiction, exercise bulimia, anorexia athletica, bigorexia, drunkorexia, and others). If you struggle with an unhealthy relationship with food, exercise or your body, it's essential to have a skilled, competent treatment team. Treatment can include exploration of beliefs around food and exercise, meal support, improving body image and anything else that's relevant to your unique experience and needs.

Reproductive Trauma
If you feel betrayed by your body because you can't get pregnant, or because you've lost a pregnancy (or maybe several), if pregnancy has been unusually difficult or scary for you, or you felt frightened during labor and delivery, then you have experienced trauma. If this has left you feeling unsafe in or distrusting of your body, then Healing Insight is the right place for you! We would be honored to come alongside you in your grief, fear, and distrust to help you rebuild a healthy connection with your body and a hope for the future.

Sports Nutrition
Our dietitians are keenly aware of the nutritional needs of athletes. If you'd like to learn more about the nutrients you need to optimize your energy and performance, we would be happy to work with you to meet your goals. If you are struggling to eat enough or don't know what your nutritional needs actually look like, our team is here to help and support you in meeting your goals!

Body Dysmorphia
We work with clients dealing with body dysmorphia, body dysmorphic disorder, and general poor body image. We focus on helping you connect and build trust with your body. We believe in body neutrality, rather than body positivity. We will work on learning to appreciate your body for what it does, rather than focusing on how it looks. In working with us, you will move towards the goals of accepting your body, thinking about your body less, and getting back to enjoying your life.

Clinical Consultation
We provide consultation to therapists seeking to strengthen their clinical skills in working with eating disorders and sexual trauma. The consultation may include case conceptualization, treatment planning, ethical considerations, and integrating trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches. The goal is to help clinicians feel more confident, supported, and effective when navigating the complexities of sexual trauma, as well as eating disorder presentations.
